The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course (also known as Apply First Aid and Senior First Aid) is the current standard qualification for first aid providers in the workplace Australia-wide.

Our first aid course will allow you to develop skills and knowledge and most importantly, confidence, to provide first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury. You will develop the skills to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, and promote recovery.

The course is delivered in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and applies to all workers or members of the community who may be required to provide CPR in the event of an emergency.
For Individuals:
  • Who may be required to provide First Aid as an emergency first response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
  • At home or in any industry; this course may save a life.
  • Wanting to ensure that they and those around them remain safe while in the workplace.

For Businesses:
  • That need their people to be First-Aid ready; this is the course for them

The course requires:
  • Access to the Internet. (Some of this course is delivered online)
  • Identification document such as a driver's licence, passport, 18+ card
  • Ability to attend one of our training centres to attend a practical assessment. You can use our online booking system to arrange a practical assessment at a date, time, and place that suits you
  • Physical ability to perform at least 2 minutes of continuous CPR on a manikin on the floor
